PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria firefighters responded 2:30 a.m. Saturday to a garage fire at 1319 W. Main St.
Fire crews found a detached two stall garage fully engulfed.
“The fire did spread to a vehicle parked in the driveway next to the garage, and crews had to navigate several down power lines near the blaze,” said Battalion Chief Clint Kulman.
The fire was extinguished quickly to prevent the fire from spreading to a nearby house.
No report of any injuries.
The fire is under investigation.
