Throughout the year, The Drive will give you the opportunity to help our community, and one of the first ways you can help is to clean out the basement! Actually just your old electronics, and Retro-Tech will be happy to take them. In fact, they take just about anything with a cord. Besides, did you know that a computer monitor contains about 5 pounds of lead? An average tv can contain up to 10 pounds...and that all goes right into the landfill, our air, water etc.

So, for a nominal fee ($5 for most tv's and monitors...nearly everything else is free), you can leave your junk with Retro-Tech, who will, refurbish, recycle or find a good home for your stuff. You can find em at the corner of Spitznagle and Rock Island (just up from the old Steak N Shake on Adams in Peoria), with drop-off times from 10a-5:30 Monday-Friday and 10-2 on Saturday.
