Budweiser Blues Fest 08 93.3 The Drive welcomes the 20th annual Budweiser Illinois Blues Fest to the Peoria Riverfront August 29th and 30th. This weekend is always one of the best of the year and features 2 days of incredible blues bands including the Lonnie Brooks Band on Friday, Tinsley Ellis and lots more on Saturday. 93.3 The Drive wants every woman who reads this to join the "Run For Everywoman" to benefit the YWCA. The competitive 5K race and one mile fun fitness walk kicks off Saturday morning October 18th at Lakeview Park in Peoria. It's your chance to get together with friends and help the "Y" continue to help with emergency shelter and housing for the homeless (6 locations in Peoria), therapeutic aquatic pool and youth programming, (tumbling, volleyball, and more) and the ywca ChildcareCenter serving over 160 children.
