PEORIA, Ill. — OSF HealthCare held a ribbon cutting Monday to celebrate the opening of a fourth OSF OnCall Urgent Care location in Peoria.
According to Vice President of On Demand Services Brandi Clark, it will be the seventh urgent care clinic in the tri-county area.
An eighth tri-county clinic will be opened this summer in Pekin, according to Clark.
The new location is found at 3626 N. Sheridan Rd., at at the corner of War Memorial Dr., and will start accepting patients on Tuesday.
“Clinics like this are important as patients are becoming more involved in their care and decisions about how, where and when they want to receive care,” said Clark. “Whether that’s in person at a clinic like this or in their homes.”
All of the current OSF Urgent Care locations are being rebranded under the OSF OnCall Urgent Care name to bring them in alignment with the wide array of services under the OSF OnCall umbrella that also include virtual services.
“[OSF OnCall Urgent Care] is designed for patients who want high-quality care quickly, so that they can get on with their busy lives,” said Clark. “It’s something new and fresh that allows each individual to access care in a way that fits them in their health care journey.
“We aim to be where you live, work and play.”
Health care providers at the locations deliver basic urgent care services such as treatment for cold, cough, cold, flu, sprains, minor lacerations and fractures, sports physicals, and more.
All locations are open every day of the year from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
