PEORIA, Ill. – Illinois State Police say they made a number of arrests on felony drug charges during the recent Summer Camp music festival in Chillicothe.
Troopers Wednesday announced the arrests of eight people. None were identified. Five of the eight arrested face Class-X felonies, while one faces a Class-One felony. Specific charges also were not disclosed.
Troopers say the Peoria Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group, made up of multiple law enforcement agencies, was involved in the undercover detail. Allegedly seized between August 20th and the 21st were:
- 1,061 hits of LSD
- 47 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
- 27 grams of ketamine
- 124 grams of ecstasy
- 33 grams of cocaine
- $8,258.00 in cash
It’s not clear if any of the arrested remain in custody.
