PEORIA, Ill. – A popular rock group that was going to be at the Peoria Civic Center in a few days is postponing its tour after one of the band members has fallen ill.
Greta Van Fleet is cancelling a show Tuesday night in Madison, Wisconsin, and postponing shows through April second.
The band says on social media that it’s doing that so that guitarist Jake Kizka can continue to recover from pneumonia.
The band says Kizka has been released from the hospital, but is still struggling with the illness and its symptoms.
A new date for the Peoria show, which was to be Saturday night, has yet to be announced, but the band says they’re “determined” to play the shows.
