At around 10:30 p.m., Special Investigations officers were investigating several people allegedly showing off firearms in the 2700 block of Trewyn Ave. Three suspects ran when officers approached, but were eventually caught.
One suspect, Billy Chaplin, 21, allegedly threw what turned out to be a so-called “ghost gun” which was loaded with extended magazine. A 17-year-old juvenile allegedly had a gun reported stolen out of Missouri.
