PEORIA, Ill. – Two of the three charges a Hanna City man was arrested on for allegedly beating a two-month-old boy are no longer in play for now.
Jail and court records indicate Alexander King, 21, now only faces a single count of Aggravated Battery. He was arrested Monday on additional Aggravated Battery charge and a count of Child Endangerment.
25 News reports a judge Wednesday set bond for King at $150,000.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says King was arrested after being called to a local hospital by DCFS authorities when the boy was admitted with serious injuries.
King remains jailed but is scheduled to be in court again February second.
