CANTON, Ill. – Police in Canton say they caught a man showing off a gun at a local convenience store.
Police say Calder Walker, 38, was arrested Thursday afternoon at a Casey’s location in the Fulton County community.
What started as Walker allegedly having a loaded gun in his vehicle and driving on a revoked license, resulted in a search of his home where a number of guns, other weapons, ammunition, and an illegal cannabis growing operation were discovered.
Walker faces four counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, along with counts of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possesion of a Firearm Without a FOID Card, Possession of Ammunition Without a FOID Card, Driving on a Revoked License, Disorderly Conduct, Manufacture or Delivery of Cannabis, and “Child Protection Act: Firearms Not Secured.”
Walker is in the Fulton County Jail.
