PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County man will go to federal prison for the next 50 years on Child Pornography-related charges.
Benjamin Lascelles, 36 of Glasford, was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty last November to charges of Producing Child Pornography, and Possession of Child Pornography.
Prosecutors claim Lascelles recorded himself sexually assaulting an eight-year-old and a six-year-old on multiple occasions in December, 2019.
He produced 90 images and at least eight videos of such sexual contact, and had computers, cameras, mobile devices and hard drives seized by authorities.
Lascelles reportedly told the judge at sentencing he wasn’t sexually interested in children, and had no recollection of what he pleaded guilty to.
