PEORIA, Ill. – As many as eleven people were injured when a vehicle overturned Sunday afternoon in the Central Peoria area.
Peoria Fire says the rollover crash happened at Knoxville and Corrington.
They don’t say what type of vehicle crashed, but do say its crews were able to stabilize the vehicle and extricate the 11 people inside, as it was discovered to be on its side.
Five AMT ambulances as well as one from East Peoria took the victims to local hospitals. Their injuries range from severe to minor.
No word on what caused the crash, and no word on any traffic-related citations.
