The eclipse that will cover central Illinois on Monday April 8th may not be 100%, but it’s gonna be close!
Our area will see 94% of the sun blocked by the moon and will definitely makes things seem like the end of the day right after lunch.
We’ve found a bunch of songs that definitely relate to the darkening of the skies and the reemergence of the sun, and we will put those all together starting about 1:30pm.
If you are planning on checking out the eclipse for yourself, please remember to NOT look at the eclipse directly as permanent eye damage can occur without ISO-certified eclipse glasses.
