PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. — The Peoria County Sheriff confirms an accident shut down the eastbound ramp to Interstate 474 at the Farmington Road Exit early Wednesday morning.
A semi caught fire. Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
The Illinois Department of Transportation said one lane of eastbound Interstate 74 near exit 3A was reopened to traffic around 9 a.m.
