PEKIN, Ill. – Pekin Police say a dead body was founded in a wooded area just off Court Street.
Police say they got the call at 10:48 a.m. Monday in the 3400 block of Court Street, near Illinois Route 9 and Van De Ver Avenue.
They say the adult male does not appear to have been the victim of foul play, and residents are not in any type of danger.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley says more details will be released Tuesday afternoon, following an autopsy.
