EAST PEORIA, Ill. – A website has been set up to try and find people who may have had their faces seen on some security cameras at the Par-a-Dice Hotel and Casino.
Tazewell County Circuit Court, 25 News reports, must still authorize the proposed $825,000 settlement of a class-action suit against the casnio.
The Par-a-Dice is accused of violating the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, when recording customers’ faces in the casino’s sportsbook area between September 2020 and June of 2021.
A hearing will be held next month, so if you think you might have been in the Par-a-Dice Sportsbook during that time frame, the law firm representing the plaintiff wants you to sign up for your share of the money.
