EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Police in East Peoria are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a burglary last week.
The burglary occurred at the 5th Quarter Sports Bar in the morning hours on January 10th. A video posted by the bar’s Facebook page shows surveillance video of the incident.
According to 25 News, co-owner Ray Koeppel said the suspect entered the bar by cutting a hole in the freezer roof with a saw. The suspect then used a sledgehammer to smash a slot machine, and took an undetermined amount of money.
East Peoria police Deputy Chief David Horn said there are currently no leads or way to identify the suspect at the moment. But he echoed Koeppel in telling people that if you “see something, say something.” He added that “no info is bad info.”
