PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called just before 6 p.m. Thursday to the 200 block of N. Charlton Street on reports of a shooting.
A ShotSpotter alert indicated multiple rounds were fired.
When they arrived, police found two adult male victims with gunshot wounds. One man had been shot in the leg, the other shot in the hand.
Both men were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While officers were on scene, another man arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds to his stomach and leg. His injuries were also non-life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation by the Peoria Police Department.
